AUTOGRAPH SHOW?
If this is your first time attending an autograph show, the process can seem a little confusing at first. This guide walks you through everything from arriving at the Expo Center to getting your autograph and finding your way back onto the show floor.
BEFORE YOU COME
A little preparation before the show can make your Pinstripe Pride experience much easier.
KNOW WHO YOU WANT TO MEET
Check the guest lineup and signing schedule before coming to the show. If possible, purchase your admission, autograph and photo op tickets in advance.
PLAN YOUR ITEMS
Decide what you would like signed. You may bring your own item, purchase something from our merchandise booth, or shop for an item from one of the dealers on the show floor.
We strongly recommend arriving at least two hours before your first signer. You'll need time to park, enter the building, visit Will Call, find the autograph area, prepare your item and locate your guest's line.
ARRIVING & WILL CALL
When you arrive at the Meadowlands Expo Center, enter the building and follow the signs for Pinstripe Pride.
ALREADY PURCHASED?
Head to our Will Call tables to pick up your advance purchases.
- Have a valid driver's license or photo ID ready.
- Have your order number available.
NEED TO BUY TICKETS?
Head to our Ticket Booth, where available event tickets may be purchased.
If you're unsure where to go, ask a staff member and we'll point you in the right direction.
GET SOMETHING TO SIGN
Already have the perfect item? Great. If not, you'll have plenty of options at the show.
BRING YOUR OWN
You're welcome to bring an item from home as long as it is appropriate for the guest and autograph ticket you purchased.
VISIT OUR BOOTH
Our merchandise booth will have items available for purchase that are appropriate for signing.
SHOP THE SHOW
Explore 150+ vendor tables featuring sports cards, memorabilia, photos, collectibles and other items.
PHOTO OPS & AUTOGRAPH LINES
This is the part that can seem confusing to a first-time attendee, but once you understand the system, it's pretty simple.
When possible, photo ops are completed before autograph tickets begin. A guest's posted signing time is their photo-op time.
For example, if a guest is posted for 12:00 PM, their photo ops will begin at approximately 12:00 PM. Autographs will begin after the photo-op session is completed.
Autograph tickets are called in numbered batches. You may hear an announcement such as:
Once that group has entered the queue, another group will be called. Batch sizes may vary depending on the guest, schedule and flow of the line.
Listen for announcements and follow staff directions. Don't enter the autograph line until your ticket number has been called unless you have a VIP Fast Pass.
VIP Fast Pass customers receive priority access to the autograph queue and are called before numbered autograph tickets.
The biggest advantage: VIP Fast Pass holders may enter the autograph line at any time, regardless of their autograph ticket number.
VIP Fast Pass is an add-on and does not include admission, Early Entry, autograph or photo op tickets.
COME EARLY &
BRING YOUR PATIENCE
Pinstripe Pride is a live event with dozens of autograph guests, photo ops and thousands of fans moving through the show. Signing times and lines can shift throughout the day.
Arrive early, listen for announcements and give yourself plenty of time. Our staff is always available if you need help.
GET YOUR ITEM READY
When your number is getting close, prepare everything before you reach the autograph table.
AT THE AUTOGRAPH TABLE
Your number has been called, your item is ready and you've reached the front of the line. Now enjoy the moment!
MULTIPLE GUESTS? NO PROBLEM.
Many fans purchase autograph tickets for multiple guests whose signing times overlap.
If Guest A and Guest B are both scheduled for 12:00 PM, you do not need to panic.
Our queue system is designed to allow fans to move between signing lines, and our staff will be available throughout the autograph area to help direct you.
